GUACAMOLE

I got the ultimate snacking idea for you - Creamy and tasty guacamole for any occasion!

 

This recipe is really easy and quickly.

You can eat it for breakfast, lunch or dinner - It fits perfectly to any occasion.

Make yourself some vegetable sticks, a slice or bread, or some toast triangles like I did.

Is it just me or does the guacamole taste even more delicious on a hot toast?

 

I could eat it every day, really!

Okay now let's move on to the part where I tell you how to make it. And don't worry you don't need any electronic kitchen devices, just a knife and a fork.

 

Ingredients (serves 2):

2 avocados (need to be ripe, otherwise you can't squash them properly)

juice of a half lemon

salt & pepper

 

Optional:

1 tomato

1 egg (boiled)

thyme or parsley

First of all slice the avocados into two halves and remove the core. Hollow the avocados and squash the pulp with a fork until smooth.

Then add the lemon juice, salt and pepper and mash it up.

 

Actually you are now finished with your guacamole, but if you like to add some extra taste to it add either a chopped tomato or a chopped boiled egg (for a protein boost). You can also refine your guacamole by adding thyme or parsley to it. It's really up to you.

 

On my pictures you can see the original guacamole and one with chopped a tomato in it. I also added a toasted toast, because for me this is the perfect combination 🙂
